What macOS version do I need?

Wisply requires macOS 26 or later. The app uses Apple's new Speech Framework and Apple Intelligence features that are only available in this version.

Is my data private?

Yes, 100%. All transcription and AI processing happens entirely on your device. Your audio never leaves your Mac. We don't collect or transmit any audio data.

How does speaker diarization work?

Wisply uses FluidAudio, a research-grade speaker identification engine. It automatically detects different speakers in your recording and color-codes their contributions in the transcript.

Can I capture audio from Zoom/Teams/Meet?

Yes! Wisply can capture system audio from any application on your Mac, including video conferencing apps like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet.

What languages are supported?

Wisply supports all languages available through Apple's SpeechTranscriber, which includes major world languages. The exact list depends on your macOS language settings.

Is the app free?

Yes! The core Wisply experience—including unlimited transcription, speaker diarization, dual audio capture, and AI insights—is completely free. Premium features like cloud sync are planned for the future.

How do I request a refund?

How do I delete my data?

All your data is stored locally on your device. You can delete individual memos within the app, or uninstall the app to remove all data. We don't store any data on external servers.
