What macOS version do I need?

Wisply requires macOS 26 or later. The app uses Apple's new Speech Framework and Apple Intelligence features that are only available in this version.

Is my data private?

Yes. Core transcription and memo insights happen on-device. Audio recordings stay local to your Mac, and transcripts and memo data are stored locally by default. Optional iCloud sync and optional cloud AI features require explicit user action before data leaves your device.

How does speaker diarization work?

Wisply uses FluidAudio, a research-grade speaker identification engine. It automatically detects different speakers in your recording and color-codes their contributions in the transcript.

Can I capture audio from Zoom/Teams/Meet?

Yes! Wisply can capture system audio from any application on your Mac, including video conferencing apps like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet.

What languages are supported?

Wisply supports all languages available through Apple's SpeechTranscriber, which includes major world languages. The exact list depends on your macOS language settings.

Is the app free?

Wisply is designed with a generous free tier that includes transcription, speaker diarization, dual audio capture, and on-device memo insights. Premium access adds optional iCloud sync and other extras for people who want them.

How do I request a refund?

For App Store purchases, you can request a refund through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. For any billing questions, contact support@wisply.ai.

How do I delete my data?

You can delete individual memos within the app, and local recordings stay on your device. If you enabled iCloud sync, deleting a synced memo in the app will propagate that change to your synced devices through your private iCloud account. Wisply does not store your recording content on Wisply servers.
